Single Pin Double Ended – 21 Watt Germicidal Water Treatment Bulb – Ozone Producing 

Our CureUV brand Replacement UVC Light Bulb for G22T5VH is an ozone-producing lamp that has a total length of 19.17 inches and a single-pin double-ended base style. A 185 nm UV light produces UV energy in wavelengths shorter than 220 nm which decompresses oxygen to produce ozone. The light bulb lasts 10,000 hours after which we highly recommend replacing it for better performance.  

The replacement bulb works to sanitize and kill bacteria, protozoa, molds, viruses, and yeasts present in water. Germs that cause harmful bacteria and microorganisms such as Vibrio cholera, influenza virus, hepatitis virus strains, and organisms causing gastroenteritis can easily be destroyed with this method of purification.

UVC ozone lamps remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as mercaptans, sulfides, and ammonia. One of the advantages of ozone light is that it can be transported through the air to places where direct UV exposure cannot reach.
